A message from our President, David Pennington
TAAO is a nonprofit organization whose goal for more than 70 years has been the promotion of the mutual interests of property tax professionals throughout the state. Members include tax administrators, appraisers, tax collectors, attorneys and private companies engaged in the property tax field. We welcome professionals from tax entities and businesses that are large and small, urban, suburban and rural, with varying amounts of experience.

TAAO provides a full range of state-mandated courses plus additional courses and seminars designed to elevate the profession. Members receive a daily feed of news articles, notice of actions by state agencies and updates of proposed legislation. Our local chapter meetings and annual conference provide a means for sharing best practices and networking opportunities.
